What if everything im good at is easy? So much of my self importance comes from my being able to do many things well, but I feel like im strugglin at so much right now. Work, money, health.... Spent most of the day trying to figure out some stuff at work and just kep going in circles. Everything seemed to be dependant either on each other or variables i ddin't know how to discover, or felt like i shuld know how and wasn't. Felt useless and dumb. On the drive home, (no music cause my radio isn't working anymore) I was alone with my thoughts and god i am hating that right now.

Im so tired of my life. there are probably many things about it that would be the same even if I had the choice, but thats just it. I don't right now. Some may say that its all under my control, and they are probably right, and even thats part of the problem. I'm looking at the state i've let myself get to, and even im annoyed. I might be fine with holes in all my jeans, but its making me feel like a slob and i can't go get new ones. I could be okay with not going out with friends or girlfriend, but wI can't afford to go out, and my gf is still long distance for now.

I drive to work everyday afraid that a cop may pull up behind me. Only thing they could do would be to dig my hole deeper, just a question of the size of the shovel. I'm driving un-insured right now cause i can't afford it right now. I can't do that cause my car wasn't running for 6 months and I finally got the monies together for that. All the bills of the household have been picked up by my roommate which makes me feel guilty and horrible. Often feeds me too.

I just want to sleep all the time, I have no energy, and everything I do reminds me of some aspect of how I've failed. Every silver cloud has a gray lining that I can't ignore. Anyone whos met me would probably say how hard it is to get me down, but here I am. I hate to be so emo but im just rambling with my brain just dumping words on the page. Hope everyone else is doing better bye

I just got home from taking two more wxams this morning. It wasn't until talking to a friend of mine that I realized i had just finished 4 final exams in 24 hours. 2 yesterday afternoon/evening, and two more this morning. I don't think I have ever had my brain feel like this. I've been tired, and I've taken hard tests before, but 4 this close together and I am completely fried. There is nothing i would rather do than pass out for many hours next to my wonderful girlfriend..... damn LDRs

On the other hand, I only have one left, and its an easy one, so this should end up being a good week. Work is going better, my room is getting more and more emptied out, got my new Florida dl (with mohawk :-p)

Wow. posting was probably a bad idea considering how many cylinders im firing on now. I hope my next one makes a little more sense.

I must have one of the tricksiest girlfriends in the world. Last week she told me that she had a four-day weekend coming up and was trying to decide what to do with it. I made some silly suggestions like going to a punk-rock show, or 48 hours of World of Warcraft. So I'm at work on Friday night and she says that a pcakage just got dropped off at my apartment, and that she doesn't want it stolen. Assuing that she sent something UPS or suchlike, I texted back that its probably at the office and i'll have to pick it up tomorrow. Message right back saying she knows for a fact that its at the door. So im wondering now how on earth she knows that. Did she get a friend down here to drop something off? If so who? and when? Brain was going around in circles trying to figure it out and finish up at work so I could go find out what it was. I was up with her for my birthday and her plans for the bday present fell through, so i was expecting something along those lines, where whatever she was planning came through.

Allt the way home my brain is going "package package package package package package package..."

I get home, rush up the stairs to my front door and at first just see a pile of stuff, then i realize there is a person sitting with the stuff. Yup. It was her. I froze up, bout dropped the stuff i was carrying and was rooted to the spot. My package was the most wonderful girl to grace the surface of this earth, my girlfriend.

Candy Bars

Me and the missus were discussing candy bars on our last date, and how sweet they were. Since coming to America, she has really lost her sweet tooth, because everything over here has so much sugar than what she is used to. Im slightly used to it, but my tastes have changed as well and I much more often have a craving for salty foods, not sweet. Went out to get some dinner and some juice for the sore throat i've had for a couple days, and i spotted a "Take 5". Its one of those little-advertised candy bars that sits there, sells okay, but no-one talks about. (see Watchamacalit, snickers cruncher, and o'henry) This one had an interesting ingredient that I'd never seen in a bar, but coated many times: pretzels. Lemme tell ya what, this really works. As the label lists, it has pretzels, caramel, peanuts, peanut butter, peanut butter candy. So its really not too sweet. I don't know what the peanut butter candy is, I don't detect anything like butterfinger in there. The caramel? Not enough to make your teeth stick together, enough to make it chewy. Note: no chocolate, so all you brits out there can relax knowing there is a lack of spoiled milk. I really came away from this experience excited for more. Next time I'm in the checkout, I'll have to look for more.

One of the first poems that I remember liking was Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll. A long long time ago, my church had a talent show, where anyone who wanted to could get something together and perform it in front of everyone. That always followed a lot of food, and activities that started the whole day. We did this about once a year, once upon a time. My dad and another gentleman interpreted for the deaf we had in our congregation, so my dad decided to use this poem to really torture the other one, because there is no way to quickly sign all the nonsense words, so he'd either have to spell it out, or give up. Great fun, and I have liked the poem since.
